Content Strategist — NxtWave (NIAT)

Location: Hyderabad

The role in one line

NIAT runs a growing portfolio of social pages outside the main brand handle — topic-led, audience-led, and regional. You own the strategy, the system, and the scoreboard for all of them.

Why this role exists

Our regional hubs and central content team are already building these pages. What's missing is the layer above: a consistent way to decide which pages exist and why, what each one is supposed to achieve, how creators are briefed, and how we know whether any of it is working. You are that layer.

You will not be the only person making content. You will be the person who makes everyone else's content decisions sharper.

What you'll own

  • Portfolio strategy — Define the mandate for each page: audience, positioning, content pillars, and the specific brand or non-brand objective it serves. Kill pages that don't earn their place; propose new ones that should exist.
  • Systems for other teams — Build the briefing formats, calendar structures, content frameworks, and review rituals that regional and central teams use. Your output is often a template, not a post.
  • Creator briefing — Translate strategy into briefs that creators and regional teams can execute without a follow-up call.
  • Performance tracking — Own the reporting layer across pages. Define what each page is measured on, build the dashboard, and run the review cadence.
  • Insight, not just reporting — Find the patterns: what formats travel, which hooks convert, where one region has cracked something the other four haven't. Turn that into changes in how everyone works.
  • Growth targets — Set and defend the numbers for each page, and diagnose the misses.

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years in content, social, or growth — ideally where you managed more than one account at once and had to think about how they relate to each other.
  • Experience building or scaling pages that were not the main brand handle: niche pages, sub-brands, creator-led accounts, community pages, meme or topical pages, or a personal page you grew deliberately.
  • Comfort with the difference between brand objectives and non-brand objectives, and the judgement to know which a given page is serving.
  • Fluency in the numbers. You should be able to open a channel's analytics and, within an hour, have a defensible point of view on what's broken.
  • Strong written thinking. Most of your influence will travel as documents that other people act on.
  • Experience working with regional or multi-language teams is a strong plus (we operate across Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu).
