<p>At Databricks, we are passionate about enabling data teams to solve the world's most challenging problems — from making the next mode of transportation a reality to accelerating medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI platform, enabling our customers to use deep data insights to improve their businesses.&nbsp; Our ability to execute this mission depends on building trust and recognition within an ever-growing community of data engineers, analysts, scientists, machine learning practitioners, and AI practitioners.<br><br>Databricks’ Developer Relations team is looking for a leader to manage our open source Developer Advocates, deepen our engagement across the Apache Software Foundation and Linux Foundation communities, and lead technical storytelling and experiences that strengthen trust and adoption. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the spotlight, is known and respected in open source communities, and gets even more satisfaction from growing other advocates than from giving the keynote themselves.</p>
<p>As the Developer Advocate Manager for Open Source, you'll lead the team that advocates for the projects Databricks builds in the open, and serve as a crucial link between our engineering teams and the global community of practitioners building their careers on them. Your team's remit spans the Open Lakehouse — Apache Spark™ (including Spark Declarative Pipelines), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Apache Iceberg™, and MLflow — as well as Omnigent, our open source meta-harness for composing, governing, and sharing AI agents. As the original creators of Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, and MLflow, we hold ourselves to a high standard here: our credibility in these communities is earned continuously, not inherited.</p>
<p>This role will leverage your expertise in building and scaling a developer relations team, and it will build on your standing within the open source world and your working relationships with the Apache Software Foundation, the Linux Foundation, and the maintainers and committers who keep these projects healthy. You'll coach your team on building a content flywheel — where a single demo, video, or talk becomes the source of truth for a dozen derivative assets — and on applying AI as a force multiplier without ever lowering the technical bar.</p>
<p>Your responsibilities will encompass both team leadership and a wide range of knowledge-sharing activities. You'll lead by example: delivering engaging talks, hosting panels and meetups, creating blogs and video content, developing courseware, answering questions in community forums, and meeting one-on-one with influential contributors and maintainers.</p>
<p>Community engagement will be at the heart of your role. You'll work closely with the open source communities and with product and engineering teams, ensuring that community needs and product development align seamlessly. Reporting directly to the Head of Developer Relations, you'll collaborate with fellow DevRel managers across our Databricks, App Dev, and DevRel Programs teams to create a cohesive and impactful open source strategy.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate embodies the values of our Developer Relations team: a deep passion for data and AI, genuine empathy for developers' needs, and a real, demonstrated commitment to open source — including the parts that don't directly benefit Databricks.</p>
<h3>More about the DevRel team</h3>
<p>The Developer Relations (DevRel) team at Databricks is dedicated to building and fostering relationships with communities of data practitioners. Our goal is to drive awareness and adoption of the Databricks Data + AI Platform — including Lakeflow, Lakebase, Genie Agents, and AI/BI — alongside the open source projects that underpin it, such as Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Apache Iceberg™, and Omnigent. Our team also owns programs like the Databricks MVP program, the user group program, and DevConnect roadshows.</p>
<h3>The impact you will have</h3>
<ul>
<li>Own developer relations for our open source portfolio end-to-end — set the strategy, define what success looks like, and be accountable for the outcomes.</li>
<li>Hire, level, and grow a team of Developer Advocates, and take real ownership of their careers: clear expectations, honest feedback, and a visible path forward.</li>
<li>Strengthen Databricks' standing as a trusted, vendor-neutral participant in the Apache and Linux Foundation ecosystems — measured by what the projects gain, not only by what we gain.</li>
<li>Establish repeatable advocacy approaches — content flywheels, contribution guides, event playbooks — that the rest of DevRel can adopt and replicate.</li>
<li>Grow external, non-Databricks adoption and contribution across our open source projects, and help develop the next generation of maintainers.</li>
<li>Drive awareness and adoption of the Open Lakehouse and Omnigent through your own speaking at industry events and conferences, and by getting your team on the right stages.</li>
<li>Guide the creation of high-quality educational content — videos, sample notebooks, datasets, tutorials, courseware, and blog posts — that meets a high technical bar.</li>
<li>Expand and nurture these communities by growing meetups and user groups and supporting practitioners in online communities, mailing lists, and issue trackers.</li>
<li>Represent the community inside R&amp;D, turning contributor friction into a documented, prioritized roadmap change.</li>
<li>Apply AI-assisted workflows to increase your team's leverage while maintaining technical depth and originality.</li>
<li>Define and defend meaningful success metrics for an open source DevRel team, and be able to explain them to executives.</li>
</ul>
<h3>What we look for</h3>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of combined experience in developer relations or developer advocacy and in a hands-on technical role — software engineer, data engineer, solutions architect, or similar.</li>
<li>2+ years managing and growing a developer relations team, including hiring, leveling, and promoting advocates.</li>
<li>You have done the work yourself. You've written the posts, built the demos, given the talks, filed the issues, and sat in the forums — and you can still do all of it.</li>
<li>A substantial, verifiable open source track record: sustained contribution, and experience with project governance, release processes, and community norms.</li>
<li>Established relationships within the Apache Software Foundation and Linux Foundation ecosystems, and a clear understanding of how to engage them well.</li>
<li>Deep knowledge of the Open Lakehouse stack — Apache Spark™, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Apache Iceberg™, and MLflow — and a working understanding of the agentic open source landscape, including Omnigent.</li>
<li>Subject matter knowledge of solving data engineering, data science, or data analytics problems at scale.</li>
<li>A genuine passion for growing people and building strong teams.</li>
<li>Active participation and recognized leadership in open source community forums, chats, and meetups.</li>
<li>Proven track record in nurturing developer communities, organizing user groups, and facilitating global meetups.</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for articulating complex concepts through writing, teaching, video, and public speaking.</li>
<li>Experience using AI to scale a team's output without lowering the technical bar.</li>
<li>Adept at collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align community initiatives with product objectives.</li>

You’ll help run and continuously improve the systems we use to quality assure Monzo’s localised product experiences.
You’ll work closely with our in-language Editors and Testers, Product and Engineering teams, and other localisation partners to make sure translated experiences can be reviewed effectively in the live product.
Rather than being responsible for making linguistic decisions in every language, you’ll help create the structure and support that enables our language specialists to do their best work – removing testing friction, providing context, improving coverage and making sure issues reach the right teams quickly.
As Monzo expands into new markets, you’ll help make our QA processes reusable and scalable so we don’t need to start from scratch for every language.
Every day you’ll be:
Running and maintaining our localisation QA processes, including coverage tracking, journey inventories, priorities, QA checks, severity levels and reporting.
Working closely with in-language Editors and Testers to help them review localised experiences efficiently and consistently.
Creating and maintaining reusable test cases, playbooks, test recipes, deeplinks and other resources that make complex product journeys easier to review.
Acting as a point of contact when localisation reviewers are blocked, investigating issues and working with the relevant Product or Engineering teams to get testing moving again.
Supporting teams developing new features by helping them understand what localisation QA may be needed, where translated content appears and which journeys or edge cases should be reviewed.
Triaging localisation bugs and feedback, identifying duplicates and routing issues to the right place – whether that’s our translation tooling, Product or Engineering teams.
Making sure localisation tickets contain useful information such as build and device details, reproduction steps, screenshots or videos and string identifiers where possible.
Carrying out ongoing in-product spot checks and coordinating re-testing when product changes could introduce localisation regressions.
Helping apply straightforward, Editor-approved text fixes in our translation tooling where appropriate, with language specialists retaining final linguistic sign-off.
Identifying opportunities to use automation, AI and internal tooling to make localisation QA faster and more efficient.
Helping stakeholders understand localisation coverage, blockers and areas of risk ahead of launches and other important milestones.
You should apply if:
You have experience in localisation QA, software QA, internationalisation, language operations or a related area.
You care deeply about the quality of customer-facing experiences and understand that a translation can be technically correct without feeling right in context.
You’re comfortable testing mobile or web products and working through complex user journeys.
You’re organised and enjoy turning complicated or manual processes into clear, repeatable ways of working.
You can prioritise testing based on customer impact and risk.
You’re confident working with Engineers, Product Managers, language specialists and other stakeholders.
You’re comfortable investigating problems, reproducing issues and gathering the information needed to help get them resolved.
You’re interested in how automation and AI can improve QA workflows, while recognising where human judgement is still important.
You’re a keen learner and enjoy documenting and sharing what you learn with others.
You’re excited by the challenge of helping localisation QA scale across multiple countries and languages.

In this unique role, we are accepting applications for two different personas:
The AI Solutions Engineer turned Mentor/Coach - you have an engineering/development background and have become the AI/Technical Trainer to teach learners how AI agents to build and configure agents and AI best practices.
The Technical Curriculum Developer turned AI Builder - you have a passion for teaching others deep technical topics, and have the curiosity and drive to learn and vibe code agentic solutions/integrations.
If you are one of these profiles and have proven, demonstrable experience - please apply now! You'll build the training that teaches customers, partners and Veevans how to use, configure, and implement and integrate our platform — including its Agentic AI capabilities — and you'll build the AI agents that power our demos and hands-on labs. You should be able to walk into an unfamiliar product area, understand its architecture and APIs, and within days be building working agent demos and lab exercises around it.You'll also own and evolve our most technical training courses, the coding-intensive classes that require real Java and REST API fluency, bringing rigor and firsthand credibility that generalist curriculum developers can't.What You'll Do
AI Agent Curriculum & Enablement
Design and build hands-on training and lab environments that teach technical learners how to build, configure, and deploy custom AI agents on our platform
Build working AI agent demos and reference implementations from scratch to anchor training content and live demonstrations
Translate the practical challenges learners face when configuring or implementing Agentic AI — tool/function calling, context management, prompt design, error handling, guardrails, orchestration — into clear, sequenced learning experiences
Stay current with the agentic AI landscape (frameworks, MCP-style tool integrations, agent orchestration patterns)
Technical Curriculum Development
Own and maintain our advanced technical courses, including classes that require coding in Java and working with REST APIs
Build and maintain hands-on lab environments, sample code, sandbox data, and technical exercises that mirror real implementation scenarios
Partner with Product and Engineering to get early access to new features and build courseware alongside General release
Apply instructional design best practices (learning objectives, scaffolding, assessment design, adult learning principles) to technical content without watering down technical accuracy
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to understand agent architecture, APIs, and configuration options as they're being built
Partner with Professional Services, Managed Services and Customer Support to identify pain points and close those gaps with curriculum
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Instructional Design, or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience building, configuring, and deploying AI agents (e.g., using frameworks/SDKs such as LangChain, LangGraph, Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK/Claude Code, or similar)
Practical understanding of core agent concepts: tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context/memory management, multi-agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and evaluation
Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or comparable tool-integration standards is a strong plus
First-hand experience troubleshooting the real problems agent builders hit — flaky tool calls, context overflow, hallucinated actions, permission/scoping issues — so you can teach learners to anticipate and solve them, not just follow a script
Ability to read and understand Java code architecture and classes for minor development or debugging, alongside a strong foundational knowledge of REST APIs
Experience with Git, Postman, or similar API tooling
3+ years building technical training, curriculum, or enablement content for a technical audience (developers, implementation consultants, technical admins, or power users)
Experience designing hands-on labs, sandbox exercises, and high quality instructor-led courses and/or eLearning
Familiarity with LMS platforms and AI/authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Arcade, Vyond, Gemini, Claude or similar) is a plus
Experience with Veeva Vault, or ability to quickly ramp up on, complex enterprise SaaS platforms — including how Veeva Vault is configured and implemented by customers
Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity — this role will often be defining the curriculum for capabilities that are still being built
Strong writing and technical communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences (technical and semi-technical learners)
Strong presentation and facilitation skills; comfortable leading live demos and workshops
Interviewing with Veeva
We value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process. Here is the process you can expect.
Follow the application process and submit your resume.

We know that to accomplish this lofty mission, we need driven people who will make things happen. The passionate people who make up Sidecar Health’s team come from all over, with backgrounds as tech leaders, policy makers, healthcare professionals, and beyond. And they all have one thing in common—the desire to fix a broken system and make it more personalized, affordable, and transparent. If you want to use your talents to transform healthcare in the United States, come join us!About the RoleAs an Operations Training Specialist on our Enablement team, you will own the full training lifecycle for Sidecar Health's operations teams — from building programs to running them to keeping them current and effective over time. This is a hands-on role in every sense: you design the content, facilitate the sessions, manage the logistics, and follow through on outcomes from a new hire's first day through the point they are ready to perform independently on the floor.Your primary focus will be supporting Claims operations, with the scope and flexibility to contribute to additional operations teams as the business grows. You will embed yourself within the Claims team early on — learning the queues, understanding adjudication workflows, and developing the hands-on familiarity that makes training land with the people doing the work. You will work closely with stakeholders across Claims, Member Care, Clinical, and Provider Ops, and you will be an active contributor to a broader Enablement function that spans training program management, knowledge management, and ongoing learning and development.Your contributions will directly shape the readiness and confidence of our operations teams, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and skills needed to deliver an outstanding member experience. What You'll Do
Own the end-to-end new hire onboarding experience for assigned operations teams — program design, content creation, classroom delivery, nesting coordination, job shadowing, and floor readiness evaluation.
Design and facilitate ongoing refresher, upskilling, and process change training as business needs evolve — including queue-specific training across Claims adjudication workflows.
Build and maintain all training materials for assigned teams — e-learning modules, Adobe Captivate simulations, facilitator guides, presentations, knowledge checks, role-play scenarios, and assessments.
Contribute to building a repeatable Claims training library — queue-specific modules that can be deployed consistently over time, reducing dependency on tribal knowledge or one-off preparation.
Own operations-specific knowledge content within the knowledge management system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with current policies, workflows, and product changes.
Assess the training and knowledge impact of operational and product changes as they come through, and proactively develop or update materials to support those changes.
Scope and execute lighter knowledge and training updates independently, escalating larger program changes to the broader Enablement team for design input.
Manage all program logistics independently: LMS administration, scheduling, roster management, Zoom coordination, and SME preparation and briefing.
Coordinate SME and supervisor involvement in training programs — providing clear direction and session context so their contributions are set up for impact.
Evaluate training effectiveness through assessment data, QA results, nesting observations, and supervisor feedback — and act on gaps proactively.
Develop and maintain coverage plans and program documentation so training continuity is never dependent on a single person's availability.
Collaborate with the broader Enablement team on knowledge management, L&D initiatives, and operational content projects.
Use AI-assisted tools to develop content efficiently, with full accountability for review and quality of all outputs.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or knowledge management, ideally within a contact center, healthcare operations, or customer service environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of training programs — you have built them, run them, and improved them without requiring step-by-step direction.
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines concurrently.
Clear and proactive communication skills, with experience delivering training sessions virtually and in person.
Familiarity with knowledge management systems, learning management systems (LMS), or other documentation tools.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to partner across teams and departments.
A proactive, ownership-driven approach to managing training programs and knowledge resources.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
Comfort with AI-assisted content development tools and strong editorial judgment about quality and accuracy of outputs.
Nice to Haves
Experience in healthcare claims processing, claims adjudication, or health insurance operations.
Experience designing or facilitating training in a claims or healthcare operations environment.
Familiarity with simulation-based training tools such as Adobe Captivate.
Prior experience with Sana, Document360, or similar LMS and knowledge management platforms.
Why Join Us?
Competitive salary ($68,000 - $75,000), bonus opportunity, and equity package.
401(k) retirement plan with company match.
Paid vacation and company holidays.
Opportunity to make a direct impact on member experience and employee success.

Instructional Designer (Contract, Part-Time)Remote | 20–25 hrs/week | $80–$90/hr | No TravelAbout the RoleTend is a tech-forward dental studio group redesigning what dental care looks and feels like — for our patients and for our teams. As we grow across new markets, keeping our people well-trained isn't a nice-to-have, it's how we protect the experience that makes Tend, Tend. That's where this role comes in.We're looking for a contract Instructional Designer to turn subject-matter expertise into training our team will actually use. You'll take existing content — including SME-provided slide decks and source material — and shape it into clear, engaging, learner-centered courses that hold up in a fast-paced, multi-market healthcare environment. This is a part-time, remote, contract engagement (20–25 hours/week), ideal for an experienced freelance or contract instructional designer who wants steady, flexible work with a people-focused organization. Reports to: Chief People Officer. CST or EST time zone preferred for overlap with the team. What You'll DoCourse Development
Convert existing SME-provided slide decks and source materials into engaging, well-structured eLearning courses
Design and develop interactive content using tools like Vyond, Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, or similar platforms
Ensure consistency in tone, structure, and visual quality across course modules
Instructional Strategy
Apply adult learning theory and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, STAR, Peyton's 4-Step Method) to build training that actually sticks
Turn static or text-heavy content into interactive, engaging learner experiences
Partnership & Collaboration
Partner with content owners and subject-matter experts to translate technical or clinical information into clear, accessible learning
Work independently to manage timelines and communicate progress clearly with stakeholders
Who You AreTend's values and competencies guide how we work — here's how they show up in this role.
Tend to OthersYou keep the learner at the center of every decision — building courses that change how someone actually does their job, not just checking a training box.Be Brave Enough to LeadYou give SMEs honest, constructive feedback when their content won't land as training, and you're willing to redesign a module that isn't working rather than ship it as-is.Savor the RideYou believe training doesn't have to be boring. You look for the moment to make a module more interactive, visual, or genuinely engaging to get through.Embrace Our DifferencesYou design for different learning styles and comfort levels with technology across a diverse, multi-market team.Rooted in GrowthYou seek feedback on your own course drafts and iterate — you know the first version is never the final version. What Else Sets You Up to SucceedMakes Sense of the MessYou can take a raw slide deck or a scattered set of notes and turn it into a structured, sequenced course — without losing the substance.Builds the RoadmapYou juggle multiple courses at different stages of development, keep timelines realistic, and flag risk before it becomes a missed deadline.Fluent in the ToolsYou move comfortably between authoring platforms and pick the right one for the content, not just the one you know best. What You HaveRequired
3+ years of experience in instructional design or a similar learning & development role
Intermediate working knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, STAR, Peyton's 4-Step Method)
Hands-on experience building courses in Vyond, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, or comparable authoring tools
Strong eye for turning static or text-heavy content into interactive, engaging learner experiences
Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and communicate clearly with stakeholders

Pay Range
$80—$90 USD
