Company Overview
Helinox is an outdoor furniture brand, maker founded and family owned since 2009. We created the ultralight packable chair category with Chair One in 2012, and we build globally across offices in Seoul, Singapore, San Francisco, Paris, Bangkok, and a growing studio in Kuala Lumpur.
Work Environment
This role is based at our Kuala Lumpur office on a full time onsite basis.
About the Role
We are seeking a Social Content Designer & Producer to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This role creates distinctive social content for Helinox and takes it through to publication.
You will turn product photography, video, verified product information and campaign briefs into finished content that expresses the appeal of Helinox products. This is a hands on role: you will personally design the graphics, edit the video, write the captions and publish the work.
The role sits within Global GTM and works closely with the GTM and Product Marketing Manager and the creative team, with collaboration across our offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design feed images, carousels, stories and video covers.
- Make considered choices on photography, layout, typography, cropping, retouching, colour and consistency across a series.
- Develop original compositions within the brand's visual direction.
Video Production
- Create and edit short form video using supplied footage and simple content you capture yourself.
- Own the opening, pacing, cuts, subtitles, sound, cover and output for each channel.
Content Planning and Copy
- Translate launch and GTM priorities into a practical weekly content calendar.
- Write everyday English captions and channel variations, working with the copywriter on key messaging.
Publishing and Channel Operations
- Manage production and approval deadlines.
- Check formats, product names, specifications, links, tags and time zones.
- Schedule and publish approved content, verify how it appears live and correct errors.
- Maintain organised source files, final exports, approval status and usage permissions.
Performance Review
- Examine viewing, saving, sharing and click data.
- Distinguish paid support from organic performance and apply the findings to subsequent content.
Requirements
- A strong graphic design portfolio demonstrating your own decisions on image selection, composition, typography, colour and brand expression. Basic template editing alone does not meet the requirements of this role.
- Three or more years of experience in graphic design, social content production and channel operations preferred. Demonstrated capability and work quality take priority.
- Graphics and short form videos you have personally produced. For team projects, your contribution should be clearly identified.
- Ability to create and revise editable source files using tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut. Mastery of every tool is not required.
- Experience consistently planning, scheduling, publishing and maintaining content for a brand account.
- Good written and spoken English, sufficient for everyday social copy and collaboration with a global team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product information, numbers, dates, links and published output.
- Ability to verify and correct AI assisted work, including factual accuracy, accurate product representation, brand suitability and usage rights.
- Currently based in Kuala Lumpur, or able to relocate at your own expense.
Advantageous
- Experience with design, lifestyle, fashion, outdoor or other consumer brands.
- Simple product photography, motion graphics and adaptation of content for multiple markets.
- Sustained content production using existing assets and limited shooting budgets.
