The technical writer will develop and maintain high‑quality manuals—procedure, user, programming, service, operational specifications, and related publications—to clearly convey technical specifications and instructions.Key Responsibilities IncludePartnering with Global Sustainment leadership to define documentation requirements, schedules, and risk‑management guidelines.Creating, rewriting, and editing technical documents.Gathering engineering data from Jira tickets, product developers, blueprints, specifications, and illustrations.Validating system capabilities in the lab and ensuring documentation reflects actual performance.Supporting Agile development: attending Scrum events, representing documentation tasks in sprint backlogs, and performing quality‑assurance reviews of products.Coordinating with sustainment leaders to align training content with technical manual revisions and program timelines.The role requires hands‑on system familiarization, subject‑matter acquisition through interviews and technical reviews, and close collaboration with engineering, sustainment, and operational stakeholders.Writes, in clear and concise language, such technical documents as procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment.
