Deep knowledge of API documentation-writing best practices. The ability to read and understand widely-used programming languages (preferably Python) and work with/test/validate code samples. If you enjoy solving the puzzle of how to present complex, technical information, in a comprehensive, well organized, and easy to understand format, then this is the job and company for you.As the Senior Content Developer you will:Lead and plan the technical documentation strategy for a group of Cloudera products and/or platform componentsDrive content development and technical documentation initiatives of your designated teamWrite a variety of technical documents for Cloudera products and services, including installation guides, user guides, system administrator guides, how-to articles, tutorials, demo videos, and best practicesMulti-task and take on ad-hoc requests to handle documentation changes at short noticePartner with User Experience team to contribute directly to the textual content contained within the product user interface, ensuring workflows and concepts are clear and easy to understandCreate videos to assist end-users with their use of Cloudera products and componentsPartner with the internal tools team, product management, engineering team, and engineering program management to ensure your technical content is validated and published to Cloudera Documentation portal in a timely mannerWe’re excited about you if you have:Proficiency in written EnglishExcellent writing and editing skills.
