EduQuik is looking for a creative and tech-driven Video Editor & AI Content Specialist who knows how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping content for Instagram, YouTube and other social media platforms.

If you understand Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, hooks, retention, storytelling, pacing, motion graphics and AI content creation, this role is for you.

 🎯Key Responsibilities :

• Edit engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and short-form social media videos.

• Edit high-quality long-form YouTube videos, podcasts and interview content.

• Transform raw footage into engaging, platform-ready content.

• Create strong visual hooks in the first few seconds to improve viewer retention.

• Add subtitles, captions, motion graphics, animations, sound effects, transitions and visual cues.

• Repurpose long-form content into multiple engaging Reels and Shorts.

• Use stock footage, memes, graphics, B-roll and creative elements to enhance storytelling.

• Leverage AI tools to generate videos, images, animations and other creative assets.

• Write and optimize AI prompts for video and image generation.

• Stay updated with current social media editing trends, formats and content styles.

• Work closely with the content and marketing team to create content aligned with brand objectives.

• Guide and mentor junior editors when required.

🧠 Skills & Expertise :

🎬 Video Editing & Motion Graphics

• Adobe Premiere Pro

• Adobe After Effects

• Adobe Photoshop

• Strong understanding of short-form and long-form video editing

• Motion graphics and visual storytelling

• Excellent sense of pacing, cuts, transitions and music

• Strong understanding of subtitles, captions and visual retention techniques

• Ability to create content specifically for Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts

🤖 AI Content Creation :

• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Runway, Kling, Envato, Google Veo, Freepik AI or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of AI prompt engineering for image and video generation.

• Ability to combine AI-generated assets with traditional video editing.

• Willingness to experiment with new AI tools and creative workflows.

⭐ Preferred Skills :

• Experience editing Instagram and YouTube content.

• Experience with podcast/video interview editing and content repurposing.

• Understanding of social media trends and viral content formats.

• Basic knowledge of camera handling and lighting setup.

• Experience working with creators, influencers, coaches or personal brands.

• Ability to manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines.

• Good creative sense and attention to detail.

💻 Equipment Requirement :

Candidates must have their own laptop or desktop capable of handling professional video editing, motion graphics and AI-based content creation.
