Training & Technical Writer β TFLE β TFT until 30/06/27
In this role, you'll:
Are you an experienced technical writer with a passion for creating clear, accurate, and user friendly operational documentation?
We are looking for a Training & Technical Writer to support the delivery of safe and reliable rail services by developing and maintaining Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) and training materials for heavy maintenance activities.
In this role, youβll work closely with subject matter experts and operational teams to review, develop and improve technical documentation, ensuring it aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements and WHS legislation.
Youβll facilitate stakeholder workshops, prepare reports, and provide support for work instruction systems, playing a key role in business readiness and continuous improvement.

About You
- Experience writing technical procedures or operating instructions, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and operational teams.
- Excellent written communication, organisation and attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
