What you'll do

As Technology Writer, you join the Product Communications team within the Communications department, covering a maternity leave period. You explain the company's technology and products to internal and external audiences, turning complex technical material into clear, accurate and compelling content. You report to the Team Lead for technical content.

• Plan and write social media content about the company's technology together with the social team, adapting complex topics to each channel
• Develop and publish product pages on the corporate website for new products, in line with brand and editorial standards
• Write scripts, provide input and review visuals for technology-related productions such as animations, safeguarding technical accuracy and narrative clarity
• Review technology-related content for accuracy, context, message consistency and clarity
• Support messaging development around new products and strategic technology topics
• Work closely with subject-matter experts, product teams and communications colleagues to source, verify and shape content, finding your way confidently in a large, matrixed organization

What you bring

• A degree in physics, engineering, science communication or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in science writing, technology communications or a similar role; experience at or with a (deep) tech company is a plus
• Proven experience translating complex technical subject matter into clear content for non-expert audiences
• Experience creating content across multiple channels, such as web, social media and video or animation productions
