About the Opportunity:

The TECHNICAL WRITER role is responsible for producing and maintaining technical content that supports over 52,000 engineers within the internal Healthcare Platform. This position ensures documentation remains accurate and accessible, translating complex engineering information into clear, task-oriented guidance. The role is essential to the knowledge team's function, driving documentation quality and responsiveness to user feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Write tutorials, how-to guides, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy
• Update documentation based on product changes and user feedback
• Create diagrams, code samples, and supporting materials

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of technical writing experience in software, cloud, or platform engineering environments
• 2-4+ years collaborating with engineering, product managers, and subject matter experts in agile or matrixed settings
• 2+ years experience with developer documentation formats like Markdown or reStructuredText
• 2+ years experience with Git/GitHub workflows, including version control and CI/CD processes
• 2+ years producing technical diagrams using tools such as Mermaid, Figma, draw.io, or Visio
• 2+ years experience with structured authoring, metadata tagging, and content management best practices
• 2+ years maintaining documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
• 1-3+ years creating developer-focused documentation and interpreting code snippets, API specs, and command-line tools

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment
• Comprehensive benefits package including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions (subject to eligibility)
