Technical Writer - Medical Domain:


  • The ideal candidate should be proficient with Oxygen XML and Adobe FrameMaker, skilled in technical illustrations using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Snagit, and experienced with CMS platforms such as SDL (mandatory) and Astoria (good to have).
  • This role involves continuous interaction with DevOps, UI/UX, V&V, PSR (Cybersecurity), and Program SMEs (LSI, LSD, and LPI) to gather inputs, clarify technical details, and collaborate effectively to ensure timely and accurate completion of all manuals.


Maintenance of manuals and labeling:

Ensuring all the product manuals and labeling are up to date. Also work with external agencies for translation work.


Must have skill sets:

  1. Familiarity with conventions in form, structure, and notation of technical writing
  2. Exceptional written, organizational, inter-personal, project management, and communication skills
  3. Proficiency in Framemaker, XML authoring tools, content management systems, Excel, Word, Outlook, Photoshop, Illustration, InDesign, and PowerPoint
  4. Writing experience in the medical device industry or any relevant industry
  5. Experience in writing user and service manuals / documents, and using content management systems and xml authoring tools
  6. Understanding of the software development cycle
  7. Functional knowledge in a wide range of technologies such as HTML and VB Script.
