Role Description The Technical Writer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tampa, FL. This role involves creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for precast concrete design software, including user guides, online help, and reference manuals. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with engineers and developers to understand product features, translating complex technical concepts into accessible language, and maintaining documentation standards and templates. The Technical Writer will also review and update existing content, organize information for different audiences, and support product releases with timely documentation updates.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, and Technical Documentation.
• Experience creating structured Documentation and user Manuals for software products.
• Excellent written English, attention to detail, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with engineering or structural design software, or a related technical field, is beneficial.
• Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, HTML, help authoring tools, or similar) and version control systems is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, English, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
