We are engaging Technical Writers/Editors to contribute expertise on a customer project focused on advanced AI system development. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for those who excel at nuanced written and verbal communication and have a keen sense for clarity, tone, and instructional value. You will participate in a Write-like-Human Eval, where you compare model-generated responses to writing prompts, offering analytical quality scores and detailed rationales.
Evaluate and compare multiple AI-generated responses to specific writing prompts, focusing on clarity, tone, helpfulness, and adherence to instructions.
Provide comprehensive rationales and scoring, justifying assessments with clear, concise feedback.
Identify opportunities to enhance the overall quality and instructional value of language model outputs.
Apply expert judgment to assess subtle differences in writing quality and effectiveness.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail when reviewing content and documenting findings.
Collaborate asynchronously with project managers and reviewers to ensure consistency and completeness of deliverables.
Contribute to the project by leveraging your advanced command of written English and critical analysis skills.
Native-level English fluency and exceptional written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in technical writing, editing, or content evaluation.
Strong ability to judge clarity, tone, coherence, and usefulness in technical and instructional content.
Familiarity with digital platforms for content review, annotation, or evaluation.
Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in analysis and documentation.
Proven capacity to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in virtual settings.
Experience with AI systems or model evaluation practices considered a plus, but not required.
