Technical Writer (Docs-as-Code) – Mumbai - Hybrid

Aleido India is looking for a Technical Writer with a strong background in IT and/or telecommunications and hands-on experience in a Docs-as-Code environment. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality documentation for complex systems and technologies, while collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, product management, and customer success teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and maintain technical documentation
• Translate complex concepts into clear, user-centric documentation.
• Work within a Docs-as-Code framework using tools such as Markdown, Git, static site generators, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage version-controlled documentation repositories and ensure alignment with software release cycles.
• Partner closely with engineering, product, QA, and support teams to gather requirements and validate technical accuracy.
• Drive documentation planning as part of product development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum).
• Facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and terminology across all documentation assets.
• Identify gaps in documentation and proactively address them.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical writing, with significant exposure to telecom technologies.
• Strong understanding of telecom domains especially 5G technologies.
• Proven experience working in a Docs-as-Code environment (Git, Markdown, or similar).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
