We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Microsoft Word and SharePoint. In addition, they will be managing workflows, a procedure matrix, and procedure tracking from creation to approval. This person will also be responsible for writing detailed and specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) for our teamβ― across multiple disciplines. These include electrical, mechanical, controls, and fire life safety.
Your day-to-day tasks will include -
Write clear, concise, and technical documents, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, that are easy to understand and follow.
Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and develop accurate, comprehensive documentation.
Manage and organize the documentation workflow, ensuring all documents are updatedβ― and approved in a timely manner.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all documents.
Ability to learn in-depth mechanical and electrical theories and systems.
Inventory work
Backup of other Critical Environments Ops Coordinators
Other duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements:
Bachelorβs degree or 3 yearsβ experience in technical writing, English, or related field.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and SharePoint as well as Google Suite.
Experience writing technical documents, including SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs for a variety of industries.
Strong organizational and project manager skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Hyperscale Data Center or industrial experience a plus.
Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience a plus.
