Lead Technical Writer

We're looking for a Lead Technical Writer with 3-5 years of experience to become the voice of our engineering team — turning the hard, interesting problems we solve into writing that engineers actually want to read.

You'll be embedded directly within engineering (reporting to the CTO), working closely with engineers to understand what they're building and translating that into compelling blog posts, technical deep dives, and social content. We're a fast-growing, well-funded startup with a lean, high-caliber engineering team — but almost nobody knows how strong our engineering is yet. You'll change that.

What you'll be doing

• Own the engineering blog end-to-end — sitting with engineers, understanding what they've shipped, and publishing posts that do it justice
• Produce high-volume technical content (targeting ~10 posts/month initially) spanning infrastructure, product engineering, and fun side projects the team builds
• Write and manage engineering-focused social content on X/Twitter and LinkedIn to build our engineering brand and attract top talent
• Embed with the engineering team daily — proactively finding stories worth telling rather than waiting to be handed them
• Translate engineers' rough ideas and notes into polished, compelling pieces written in their voice — casual, current, and resonant with a technical audience
