🚨 HIRING: Technical Writer II

📍 Location: Houston, TX

⏰ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week

📅 Target Start: Around November 30, 2026

Are you an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in petrochemical, refining, or industrial manufacturing environments?

We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who can transform complex engineering and operational information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation.

🔧 What You'll Do:-

• Develop, edit, and maintain operating procedures, maintenance manuals, work instructions, standards, training materials, and engineering documentation

• Work closely with SMEs, engineers, operations, maintenance, and project teams to gather technical information

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and practical documentation

• Review and update existing documentation for accuracy, consistency, and completeness

• Support document control, version management, and change management activities

• Participate in technical reviews and document approval workflows

• Create documentation supporting safety, reliability, compliance, and operational excellence

⭐ MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:-

✅ 10+ years of experience in petrochemical, refining, or related industrial manufacturing environments

✅ 6–8 years of technical writing experience supporting engineering, operations, maintenance, or capital projects

✅ 6+ years of manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of industrial equipment and process operations

✅ Hands-on knowledge of pumps, valves, reactors, distillation/stack columns, heat exchangers, and process units

✅ Strong understanding of refinery/petrochemical process units and operating procedures

✅ Strong technical editing, proofreading, and document management skills

✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

✅ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

💡 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:-

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable building relationships with site SMEs while working in a complex manufacturing environment.

🎯 Interview Process: In-person interview — approximately 2 hours

• 1 hour: Technical writing sample

• 1 hour: Panel interview
