Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Research & Documentation Specialist to join a growing client in the cybersecurity and product certification industry in the United States. The Technical Research & Documentation Specialist role is fully remote. The Technical Research & Documentation Specialist role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience supporting compliance and certification initiatives, technical documentation development, and security-focused product evaluations.

Responsibilities of the Technical Research & Documentation Specialist include:

  • Research and analyze Common Criteria (CC), EU Common Criteria (EUCC), and related certification requirements to support ongoing compliance initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance technical documentation including security targets, evaluation evidence, certification reports, and supporting compliance materials.
  • Collaborate with Certification Engineers and compliance teams to gather technical information and translate complex concepts into clear, accurate documentation.
  • Review product architectures, security features, and networking technologies to ensure alignment with certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor updates to certification frameworks, security standards, and industry regulations while providing recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Requirements of the Technical Research & Documentation Specialist include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Technical Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Common Criteria (CC) and EUCC frameworks, certification processes, and security evaluation methodologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, networking technologies, and information security concepts.
  • Strong technical writing, research, and analytical skills with experience producing detailed technical documentation.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, work independently in a remote environment, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Compensation for the Technical Research & Documentation Specialist include:

  • $100,000 - $120,000 annually
  • Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
  • Fully remote work environment.
