You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, EHS, Maintenance, and other subject-matter experts to ensure technical documents are accurate, clear, consistent, traceable, and compliant with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

  • Develop and standardize SOPs, WIs, and process documentation for manufacturing and assembly activities.
  • Maintain the master register of approximately 97 SOPs and WIs, including document ownership, revision status, affected processes/equipment, training requirements, and conversion priorities.
  • Review legacy documentation with engineers and subject-matter experts to identify obsolete, duplicate, or inaccurate documents and align documentation with current practices.
  • Convert existing SOPs and WIs into approved company templates and controlled-document formats.
  • Standardize document structure, terminology, revision history, approval workflows, safety requirements, quality checkpoints, and references.
  • Incorporate clear visual aids where appropriate, such as photographs, diagrams, flowcharts, equipment screenshots, inspection examples, and acceptance/rejection criteria.
  • Coordinate document reviews, comments, approvals, controlled release, revision updates, and archival of superseded documents.
  • Assess training impact resulting from document revisions and coordinate required acknowledgement or retraining.
  • Track documentation progress, outstanding actions, review status, and key risks through regular reporting and dashboards.
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring documents are current, approved, traceable, and available at the point of use.
  • Support engineering activities such as Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), BOM/routing verification, and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) when required.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, technical documentation, document control, technical writing, quality systems, production engineering, or continuous improvement is preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, precision engineering, optics, medical device, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of controlled-document practices, revision control, change management, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and process mapping.
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with BOMs, routings, and engineering master data is an advantage.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical processes into clear and operator-friendly SOPs and WIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with electronic document-management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and comply with company requirements relating to quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, or AS9100D is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are welcome to apply.
