About the Opportunity

ASC is looking for a Technical Authority Coordinator to help improve the way technical information, decisions and priorities flow across the business. Working closely with senior leaders and technical teams, you will drive better communication, governance and ways of working, while leading initiatives that improve performance, efficiency and collaboration.

Supporting Australia's nuclear and conventional submarine programs, this role offers a unique whole-of-business perspective. You'll build strong stakeholder relationships, influence positive change, and help ASC achieve its strategic objectives while contributing to the future of Australia's submarine capability.

This is a full-time opportunity based in SA.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and streamline governance processes, communication and ways of working.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, forums and action tracking to ensure follow-through.
  • Present key information, risks and progress updates to stakeholders, driving informed decision-making and supporting the successful implementation and sustainment of change.
  • Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations that support informed decision-making.
  • Build effective communication channels between frontline teams and senior leadership.
  • Support governance frameworks, policies and assurance activities.
  • Lead communication and change activities associated with process and policy improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and promote best practices across the business.

About you

  • Experienced in continuous improvement, process optimisation or business improvement initiatives.
  • Skilled at analysing complex information and translating it into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communicator who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experienced in leading or supporting change management and communication activities.
  • Highly organised, structured and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident working collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Able to build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes, even in challenging situations.
  • Experience in regulated or high-risk environments is desirable, along with the ability to
  • create clear reports, presentations and business communications.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.

Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
