IDR is seeking a Social Content Designer + Editor to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Illinois. This role offers part-time, flexible hours and is focused on creating engaging, trend-forward social media content that elevates brand presence across various platforms. The position requires a creative professional skilled in visual storytelling, editing, and social media trends.
Position Overview for the Social Content Designer + Editor:
Design social-first templates and assets for platforms including Instagram (Stories, Reels, in-feed)
Capture and edit photo and video content optimized for social media channels
Deliver high-quality, narrative-driven video edits that align with brand tone and aesthetic
Collaborate with social and creative teams to develop, storyboard, and refine content concepts
Experiment with emerging trends, motion design, and animation to keep content fresh and relevant
Requirements for the Social Content Designer + Editor :
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects preferred)
3-5 years of social media editing experience
Comfortable both shooting and editing short-form content
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of visual composition, typography, and color
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
