Senior UX Writer

Our client is looking for a Senior UX Writer for a 6-month contract to create, develop and maintain clear, engaging and user-focused content across internal and customer-facing digital platforms. The role will work closely with UX designers, researchers and other writers to ensure content supports a seamless user experience across various customer journeys and digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop UX content across multiple digital platforms and customer journeys, including account origination, account management and value-added services.
• Create and maintain content such as headings, field labels, CTAs, error and success messages, instructional copy, onboarding journeys, FAQs and walkthroughs.
• Develop content for usability testing scripts in collaboration with UX designers.
• Create supporting content including product descriptions, feature announcements, release notes, operational communications, email and SMS content.
• Contribute to SEO content, feature articles, thought pieces and marketing content where required.
• Collaborate with UX designers, researchers and other writers to ensure consistent and effective content across platforms.
• Contribute to content strategy, content audits, style guides and voice and tone guidelines.
• Review, critique and provide feedback on UX content to ensure quality, consistency and usability.
• Apply user research and behavioural economics principles to create content that meets customer needs and improves the overall user experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in UX Writing, Content Design, Product Writing or a similar role.
• Proven experience creating content for digital products, platforms and customer journeys.
• Strong understanding of UX writing and content design principles.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing voice, tone and content guidelines.
• Experience with usability testing, user research and content audits.
• Understanding of behavioural economics and how it can be applied to digital experiences.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
