Senior Training Content developer

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Training Material Content Creator to develop engaging, accurate, and scalable learning content for robotic automation solutions used in warehouses and distribution centers. The ideal candidate will translate complex robotics, software, and operational concepts into clear training materials that enable customers, partners, operators, technicians, and internal teams to successfully deploy, operate, and maintain warehouse automation systems. This role will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions, and Field Operations teams to create comprehensive learning programs for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotic orchestration software, warehouse execution systems, and associated operational processes. Key Responsibilities Content Development

  • Design and develop instructor-led and self-paced training materials for warehouse automation solutions.
  • Create training manuals, user guides, SOPs, work instructions, quick reference guides, and troubleshooting documents.
  • Develop e-learning modules, interactive learning content, videos, simulations, and assessments.
  • Translate technical product documentation into role-based learning content for operators, supervisors, maintenance teams, and administrators.
  • Develop onboarding and certification programs for customers, partners, and internal teams.

Technical Documentation

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand robotics functionality, workflows, and software capabilities.
  • Create content covering:

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) Robotic orchestration platforms Fleet management systems Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrations Safety procedures and compliance requirements Robot maintenance and troubleshooting Operational best practices Training Program Management

  • Conduct training needs analysis and identify skill gaps.
  • Define learning objectives, curricula, and certification pathways.
  • Maintain version control of training materials as products evolve.
  • Ensure consistency of content across global deployments and customer environments.

Multimedia Development

  • Create instructional videos, animations, voice-over presentations, and visual learning aids.
  • Develop scenario-based learning exercises and operational simulations.
  • Produce product walkthroughs and system demonstrations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Gather learner feedback and training effectiveness metrics.
  • Update content based on product releases, customer feedback, and operational learnings.
  • Support localization efforts for global customer deployments.

Required Qualifications Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, Engineering, Robotics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Education Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3–7 years of experience in technical content development, instructional design, or training program creation.
  • Experience creating training materials for industrial automation, robotics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of warehouse operations and automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with robotics systems, AMRs, AGVs, or warehouse automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of WMS, WES, ERP, and automation system integrations.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and content authoring tools.

  • Experience creating technical training for software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation deployment and customer implementation processes.
  • Experience developing certification and competency-based learning programs.
