Senior Technical Publications Engineer(Airbus

Role Purpose

Independently author, review, and deliver complex technical publications while supporting project execution, quality compliance, mentoring, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Author and revise complex technical publications and deliverables.
• Conduct publication impact assessments for engineering changes, service bulletins, and modifications.
• Perform peer reviews and ensure first-time-right quality.
• Resolve technical queries through coordination with engineering and stakeholders.
• Support planning, estimation, prioritization, and workload management.
• Analyse recurring quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide domain guidance.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and productivity initiatives.
• Participate in customer review meetings and status discussions when required.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Technical Publications processes and standards.
• Expertise in authoring and publishing tools.
• Working knowledge of S1000D, ATA/iSpec2200, ASD-STE100, or relevant customer standards.
• Experience in configuration management and change implementation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications.

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of experience in Technical Publications.
• Demonstrated ability to independently handle end-to-end publication activities.
• Experience in aerospace documentation is preferred.
• BE/B Tech (Aerospace/Aeronautical) or AME (Avionics/Mechanical).
