3di has been providing outsourced technical documentation services for over 20 years to global companies and technology businesses. We're looking for a Senior Technical Author with experience documenting hardware and complex machinery for an upcoming project in Scotland.
We're looking for someone who:
Has significant experience as a Technical Author, ideally documenting hardware and complex machinery.
Is confident working onsite with engineering and installation teams during the commissioning process.
Can interview installers and engineers to capture technical information accurately.
Can create, review and improve clear, structured technical documentation.
Has experience with MadCap Flare (preferred).
The role will require 2–3 days per week onsite in Bathgate for around one month, with potential for further work afterwards.
