We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer specializing in Ancillary and Lesson Development to design, develop, and review engaging, comprehensive Kβ12 digital instructional materials across English, Literature, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics for U.S.-based clients. This contractual role requires strong instructional design expertise, proven experience working with U.S. curriculum standards, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and curriculum leads. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional writing skills, storyboard development capability, media planning expertise, and a deep understanding of standards-aligned lesson development to deliver high-quality educational content.

Responsibilities :
Instructional Review and Quality Assurance
Review and write (if required) lessons developed by SMEs for instructional flow, clarity, and alignment to U.S. Kβ12 standards
Identify instructional gaps and recommend improvements
Ensure alignment between learning objectives, content, practice, and assessment
Media Planning and Storyboarding
Identify media requirements, including videos, graphics, and interactive components
Ensure media elements align with instructional intent and learner needs
Content Development Support
Create lesson-specific documentation required for production workflows
Develop audio scripts and instructional text for multimedia components
Add captions and ensure proper citations and formatting
Conduct quality checks for grammar, tone, and clarity
Implement internal and client review comments
AI-Enabled Workflow
Use AI tools to support content review, script drafting, and media ideation
Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, instructional quality, and standards alignment
Collaboration
Work closely with curriculum leads, SMEs, and production teams
Communicate proactively regarding clarifications, revisions, and timelines
Participate in virtual review and alignment sessions
Qualifications
Post-Graduate degree in English, Literature, Science, Social Studies, Math, or related field
3-5 years of experience in Kβ12 instructional design
Experience working with U.S.-based curriculum clients
Familiarity with U.S. Kβ12 educational standards and standards alignment
Strong writing, visualization, and storyboard review skills
Understanding of accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG principles) for digital learning
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Awareness of various media modalities and eLearning tools
Working knowledge of AI tools for instructional support
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with digital authoring platforms such as Articulate Rise
Experience in standards mapping and digital lesson production workflows
