Senior Content Strategist

Job Overview

We are actively looking for an experienced Senior Content Strategist to join us and work across an array of cool and creative clients, which could include the likes of Ikea, Dove, Heineken, Adidas and more.

The role of our Content Strategy team is to provide the direction for how clients can thrive in influencer-centric social-first content, setting the conditions for breakthrough ideas that produce standout communication.

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist with experience developing innovative content plans that meet client objectives and offer new, unexpected ways to succeed in the creator-led space. The right person will be able to champion innovative approaches to content, clearly explain their rationale, and outline the implications for messaging, talent selection, and context.

Responsibilities:

• Devise the content planning approach on Responses to Briefs that shift the needle of what creator-led advertising can achieve for our clients
• Conduct social landscape and cultural analysis to identify how people are behaving and why
• Articulate the human truths with a creator lens upon which a creative concept can be built in a new way the client hasnʼt heard before
• Write inspiring creative briefs setting out clear direction and ways to win in the creator space that leverage these truths
• Set clear direction for casting - what type and size of creator is required to do the job and why
• Deliver both Influencer and Creator in Advertising content plans including the type and amount of content required by task and by phase
• Write a clear and compelling messaging hierarchy
• Work closely with the creative team on concept development
• Hypothesise what type of content will deliver against the client objective and ensure testing of this is baked into the measurement approach
• Sell in the content planning approach through persuasive, inspiring and succinct storytelling
• Present confidently to clients
• Conduct content audits, social listening, brand positioning and wider social media management recommendations

Skills and Attributes:

• Experience or huge interest in creator-centric content and strategy
• Proven ability as a senior strategist to devise and execute content plans that meet client objectives and introduce new, practical approaches that show what’s possible in the creator space
• Proven experience working on creator-centric social-first content strategy
• Significant expertise in writing inspiring, clear creative briefs that set direction and leverage human insights within the creator space.
• An effective body of work to draw upon that demonstrates the ability to inspire, challenge and make creative leaps into new ideas
• A proven and dynamic creative problem-solver; able to bring a fresh perspective by connecting the dots in unexpected ways
• Collaborative, yet independent and proactive – comfortable with sharing thoughts and opinions to build on ideas
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
