The Project-Based Instructional Design Specialist supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of learning and development materials and programs for assigned projects. This role works closely with the Instructional Designer and other stakeholders to create engaging, effective, and learner-centered training content while providing coordination and administrative support for project-related learning initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in the design, development, and updating of instructional materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, facilitator guides, participant manuals, and assessments.
  • Support the creation of engaging learning content using instructional design principles and methodologies.
  • Conduct research on learning trends, tools, and best practices to enhance training programs.
  • Help organize and maintain learning resources, templates, and content libraries.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure training materials are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in uploading and managing learning content in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support the administration and logistics of training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives.
  • Monitor and track training completion, participant feedback, and program effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to training activities and learning outcomes.
  • Provide project-related coordination and administrative support to ensure the timely completion of assigned L&D deliverables.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Learning and Development team.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in instructional design, training, learning and development, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, or adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Canva, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively within a project-based environment and meet defined timelines and deliverables.
