Key responsibilities
Effectively manage a broad range of documentation projects for different teams across the organisation
Undertake document control related activities and ensure all documentation is processed in accordance with document control procedures in a timely manner
Manage logging, distribution, filing and archiving of controlled documents
Maintain registers including document and records registers
Produce documentation and create templates that support the operations of our information security management systems including policies, procedures, and work instructions
Work collaboratively with developers, engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to create content for internal stakeholders and our customers
Review and update documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards and contract requirements
Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation development and improvement efforts
Conduct regular audits to ensure processing is completed consistently and in accordance with procedures
Core competencies, skills and experience
Excellent communicator with a background in network or software engineering who can write, publish and maintain accurate, high-quality content and documentation for internal stakeholders and our customers
Experience in writing internal policy and procedure documentation
Ability to interpret highly technical information and present it in concise language that can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences alike
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated experience in document management systems, related methodologies, strategies and systems
Highly developed organisational skills: the ability to manage and prioritise multiple documentation projects across different teams, products and services
Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal; this includes the ability to multi-task and work independently while thriving in a geographically distributed team environment
Sound conceptual, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an arts and language field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
