SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

✔️7+ years of Technical Writing experience within Fintech, Banking, or API-driven environments

✔️Proficiency in API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Confluence

✔️Strong expertise working with JSON and YAML data formats

✔️Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for technical and business audiences

✔️Experience collaborating in Agile environments with Product Owners, IT, and Compliance teams

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️Knowledge of Open Banking, Open Finance, and financial regulatory landscape

✔️Experience documenting end-to-end use cases and value streams

✔️Familiarity with aligning documentation strategies to product roadmaps

✔️Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a senior Technical Writer to join an onsite engagement based out of Atlanta, GA. The role operates at the intersection of business communication and API-driven ecosystems, driving technical documentation initiatives for Open Finance and Open Banking solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders by creating high-quality API documentation, user manuals, and knowledge-base deliverables that support the product roadmap and ensure compliance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, manuals, API docs, release notes, and knowledge-base articles for internal and external partners.

✔️Create and manage API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Confluence, leveraging strong proficiency in JSON and YAML.

✔️Partner with Product Owners, IT, and Compliance teams to document use cases and value streams across the open finance and open banking landscape.

✔️Drive stakeholder engagement by communicating the business value of open banking capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.

✔️Support product roadmap development by collaborating with business stakeholders to align documentation strategies with overall product direction while ensuring regulatory accuracy and consistency.
