Senior Instructional Designer [82973]

Our client, a dynamic organization specializing in workforce development, is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to support their remote team. This temporary role is expected to last between 10 and 26 weeks. Join a team dedicated to creating innovative learning experiences that make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine learner needs and establish clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with program goals.
• Design and develop engaging, modality-specific learning materials such as storyboards, interactive eLearning modules, assessments, and multimedia assets utilizing adult learning principles.
• Create advanced adaptive learning content using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate, or Evolve.
• Implement assessment strategies to evaluate learning effectiveness at various levels of the course structure.
• Partner with multimedia developers to visualize instructional graphics and end-to-end learning journeys, ensuring engaging visual design and user interfaces.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of practical instructional design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating a variety of learning solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate, or Evolve for developing sophisticated content.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies including ADDIE, SAM, and backward design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone for diverse stakeholders.
