We are currently recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented NPI Documentation Specialist to join an established NPI team within a leading manufacturing and technology organisation in Shannon.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple departments and has a strong interest in product documentation, compliance, change management and process coordination.

The Role

As a Documentation Specialist, you will play a key role in managing product documentation and supporting the introduction of new and improved products to market.

Working closely with teams including Production, R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and Test Engineering, you will ensure that product documentation is accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain product documentation in line with relevant product standards, local legislation and market requirements.
  • Prepare and manage labels, packaging, manuals, datasheets and other product documentation.
  • Create and maintain product Bills of Materials (BOMs) on the ERP system for relevant markets.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure packaging content is accurate and compliant.
  • Liaise with sales offices to coordinate the review and validation of product documentation.
  • Assess change requests, determine validity and establish appropriate lead times.
  • Coordinate and control the implementation of changes relating to product documentation.
  • Liaise with Purchasing regarding delivery timelines for new and updated documentation.
  • Document and communicate product changes to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Production teams with the introduction and understanding of product changes.
  • Provide day-to-day support and assistance to Production regarding documentation-related queries.

The Ideal Candidate

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Business & Law (BBL) or a relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, Teams and web-based systems.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A positive, energetic and proactive attitude.
  • A high level of reliability, professionalism and integrity.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, quality or NPI environment would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in German is highly desirable.
