Team Lead Knowledge Exchange & Innovation R&D Academy

  • Location: Veldhoven
  • Assignment until 1st of March - possible extension

Introduction to the Role

Are you an experienced professional with proven expertise in knowledge management, analytics, and technological innovation within the Learning & Knowledge Management domain? Do you enjoy developing people? Do you have a vision for how Learning & Knowledge Management (L&KM) support can be further developed, improved, and scaled through technology? Do you have experience setting up and implementing dashboards and analytics? Do you have an innovative mindset and the confidence to explore new domains?

Our leaders empower our teams to deliver best-in-class learning and knowledge management solutions by managing global stakeholders, enhancing team capabilities, and driving the vision of the R&D Academy. With the launch of a new roadmap, a new phase of professionalization and improvement for the academy has begun. We're looking for someone to strengthen our team β€” someone who can build on the strong foundation already established in Knowledge Management, drive and operationalize the roadmap, lead learning technology innovation, and own the setup of L&KM analytics.

Would you like to be part of this exciting journey? If so, this role is perfect for you!

Job Mission

The organization has grown significantly in recent years and will continue to grow. Onboarding new colleagues while continuing to support customers is a real challenge. Effective learning and knowledge management is foundational to executing the strategy and sustaining growth, and the R&D Academy exists to support this. In close collaboration with the R&D community, the team builds and strengthens technical leadership, creating sustainable, impactful, and scalable Learning & Knowledge Management solutions β€” delivering learning and knowledge exactly when employees need it.

The mission of this team is to provide R&D employees with learning and knowledge in the moment of need. As team lead, you manage your team's activities in line with departmental and business strategy. The role requires balancing people management, stakeholder management, content, and innovation.

You'll support the global R&D business as a member of the R&D Academy leadership team, working closely with other leadership roles within the Academy (Programs and L&KM Development).

Leading a team of professionals is central to this role. Guiding them in their personal and professional development, bringing the roadmap to life, developing their skills, further integrating Knowledge Management into the learning domain, and safeguarding their well-being are all essential to success.

As a business-owned academy reporting into the largest engineering sector, the team also operates within the broader structure of other academies and People Expertise functions. Part of this role involves actively engaging and aligning with topics, initiatives, best practices, and ways of working set by other academies and the central Learning & Knowledge Management Center of Expertise.
