Instructional Designer - eLearning

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer / Instructional Designer.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in instructional design, eLearning development, LMS administration/content management, SCORM-compliant training, digital learning technologies, and training material development.

This role will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), government stakeholders, trainers, technical teams, and project stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and continuously improve engaging and effective digital learning solutions.

An active Secret-level security clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop eLearning courses, digital training materials, and instructional content.
• Develop learning objectives, storyboards, assessments, course structures, and training materials.
• Create and maintain SCORM-compliant eLearning content.
• Publish and manage courses through LMS platforms such as Moodle.
• Collaborate with SMEs, government/defense stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Evaluate learner performance and improve training effectiveness.
• Ensure content meets quality, usability, accessibility, and instructional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development, or related field.
• 3+ years of eLearning / Instructional Design experience within the last 5 years.
• Hands-on experience with SCORM, LMS, and eLearning authoring tools.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar tools.
• Strong experience in storyboarding, assessments, learning objectives, and course development.
• Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional stakeholders.
