Digital Art Curriculum Developer (Grades 3-8

We are looking for a creative and education-focused Digital Art Curriculum Developer who understands both digital art and how children learn to help us develop a structured, engaging, and age-appropriate Digital Art curriculum for students in Grades 3 to 8.


Responsibility

1. Designing the Digital Art Curriculum and Learning Progression for Grades 3 to 8.

2. Creating a well-articulated progression by grade and level, with concepts and skills progressing naturally from one grade to the next.

3. Selecting age-appropriate digital art concepts, tools, techniques, and skills.

4. Creating learning objectives, topics, activities, projects, and chapter/lesson outlines.

5. Planning hands-on activities that inspire creativity, experimentation, exploration, and expression in your students.

6. Introducing students to areas including but not limited to digital drawing, digital illustration, digital painting, visual composition, creative design, and other age-appropriate digital art skills.

7. Ensuring that the course you develop is practical and applicable to a school classroom setting.

8. Creating projects that will provide the opportunity for students to apply the acquired skills rather than just follow the tutorial.

9. Collaborating with the editorial and academic team to enhance the curriculum and its progression.

10. Analyzing existing literature on digital art education and improving the learning process.


What we’re looking for

1. Strong knowledge and practical experience in Digital Art, Illustration, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related creative field.

2. Experience working with digital art tools/software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Krita, Canva, or similar platforms.

3. A good understanding of art fundamentals such as drawing, colour, composition, shapes, perspective, visual storytelling, etc.

4. Ability to break down complex creative skills into simple, age-appropriate learning steps.

5. Strong understanding of how to create project-based and activity-based learning experiences.

6. Good content development and writing skills.

7. Ability to think beyond individual lessons and build a coherent learning journey across Grades 3–8.

8. Familiarity with school curriculum development, CBSE/ICSE/NCERT frameworks, or K–12 education will be an advantage.


Eligibility

1. Degree/Diploma/Professional qualification in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Education, or related disciplines.

2. Experience in digital art, design, illustration, animation, or curriculum/content creation.

3. Digital artists, teachers, illustrators, designers, curriculum developers, and creative people with relevant experience are all welcome to apply.
