Build the robots. Grow the community. Help define the future of physical AI.
Humanoid robotics is moving from research labs into the real world.
We're working with a fast-growing robotics company building an open humanoid robotics platform designed to make physical AI accessible to developers, builders and innovators worldwide. With significant momentum behind the business and a growing ecosystem strategy, they're now looking for their first US-based Developer Relations Engineer.
This isn't a traditional DevRel role.
You'll spend part of your time building, assembling and testing cutting-edge robotics systems, and the rest helping developers understand what's possible. You'll create demos, workshops and technical content, engage engineering communities, speak at events and help grow an ecosystem around one of the most exciting areas in technology.
If you enjoy building things, talking about them and inspiring others to build with them, this could be the role you've been waiting for.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining robotic systems used by developers and customers
- Creating demonstrations, applications and technical examples
- Working directly with engineering teams to showcase new capabilities
- Delivering workshops, presentations and technical talks
- Producing content that educates and inspires developers
- Growing relationships across robotics, AI and developer communities
- Gathering feedback from users and helping shape the product roadmap
What we're looking for
- Technical background in robotics, software engineering, AI, mechatronics or a related field
- Hands-on experience building and debugging real systems
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with technical communities
- Evidence of public technical engagement through talks, blogs, videos, GitHub contributions or open-source work
- Genuine enthusiasm for robotics and emerging technologies
Why join?
- Help shape one of the first open humanoid robotics ecosystems
- Work directly with founders and engineering leadership
- High visibility position with significant ownership
- Opportunity to become a recognised voice within physical AI and robotics
- Early-stage equity opportunity with substantial growth potential
