Purpose of the Job

As Content Manager (Slots Portfolio), you will take full ownership of the content performance, quality, and portfolio development across Ogooga’s slots-focused digital properties, including JocPacanele.ro, JocSloturi.ro, and related brands. In this hands-on role, you will bridge content planning, SEO execution, editorial standards, performance analysis, content optimization, and AI-powered operations to deliver high-performing organic content that serves casino players and drives commercial growth.

Example: Building AI-assisted content refresh workflows to audit and update low-performing slot reviews across JocPacanele.ro, increasing organic search visibility and player click-through rates (CTR) to affiliate partners.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Portfolio Ownership: Own the content roadmap and day-to-day content management for Ogooga's slots portfolio, including JocPacanele.ro, JocSloturi.ro, and related properties.
• SEO & Commercial Strategy: Translate SEO strategy, keyword opportunities, commercial priorities, and market developments into actionable content plans.
• Editorial Operations: Build and manage monthly editorial calendars, content briefs, publishing priorities, and refresh plans.
• Content Production: Coordinate the production of new content across slot reviews, casino content, guides, informational pages, comparisons, evergreen content, and other relevant formats.
• Lifecycle & Refresh Management: Manage and continuously improve the existing content inventory, identifying pages that should be refreshed, expanded, consolidated, redirected, or retired.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor organic performance and content KPIs to identify growth opportunities, declining pages, content gaps, and areas requiring optimization.
• SEO Execution: Work closely with SEO specialists to ensure content follows search intent, internal linking, on-page SEO, topical coverage, and portfolio priorities.
• Editorial Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of accuracy, usefulness, originality, tone of voice, and editorial quality across the portfolio.
• Commercial Accuracy: Ensure casino and slot-related information, including game details, operators, bonuses, mechanics, features, and commercial information, is accurate and regularly maintained.
• Writer Management: Coordinate writers and contributors by providing clear briefs, feedback, priorities, and quality expectations.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with Affiliate, SEO, Creative, and other stakeholders to ensure content supports both user needs and business objectives.
• Scalable Frameworks: Develop repeatable content formats, templates, guidelines, and quality standards that allow the portfolio to scale efficiently.
• Market & Competitor Tracking: Track competitor activity, SERP developments, content trends, and changes within the Romanian casino and slots market.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Use data and reporting to evaluate content performance and make informed decisions about future production and optimization.
• AI & Automation Integration: Actively identify opportunities to use AI and automation to increase content output, reduce repetitive work, accelerate refresh cycles, and improve quality.
• Product & Content Innovation: Contribute ideas for new content initiatives, tools, landing pages, features, and formats that strengthen the authority and usefulness of the slots portfolio.

Technical Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience in Content Management, SEO Content, Editorial, Digital Publishing, Affiliate Content, or a similar role.
• Previous experience in online casino, slots, iGaming, sports betting, gambling affiliate, or gaming content.
• Strong domain knowledge of slot games, online casinos, game providers, bonuses, mechanics, terminology, and player behavior.
• Strong understanding of SEO-driven content and how content contributes to organic traffic and commercial performance.
• Experience managing content calendars, briefs, writers, publishing workflows, and existing content inventories.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to recognize high-quality, useful, search-focused content.
• Experience using data from tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.
• Ability to identify content opportunities based on search intent, keyword data, competitor analysis, and website performance.
• Strong understanding of content optimization and lifecycle management, including content audits and refresh programs.
• Ability to manage multiple websites, priorities, and content streams simultaneously.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect content activity with measurable commercial performance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and project management software.
• Fluent Romanian, with an excellent understanding of how Romanian audiences search for and consume casino and slots content.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing Romanian gambling or affiliate websites.
• Familiarity with the Romanian online gambling market, major operators, game providers, and content landscape.
• Experience working with large, established SEO-driven content inventories.
• Experience coordinating freelance or in-house writers and providing editorial feedback.
• Familiarity with content quality frameworks, topical authority, internal linking strategies, and programmatic/scalable content initiatives.
