Content Designer All States

Content Designer, UX Writer or Digital Content Specialist

The successful candidates will work on creating and improving clear, user-focused digital content across web and other digital channels. This is an opportunity for content professionals who enjoy working with stakeholders, UX/design teams and multidisciplinary Agile teams.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Designing, writing, editing and maintaining clear, user-friendly digital content
• Developing content for web and digital channels
• Applying content design, UX writing and accessibility principles
• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and user needs
• Using research, evidence and feedback to improve content and user experience
• Collaborating with UX, design, technology, policy and business teams in an Agile environment
• Participating in workshops and planning sessions
• Preparing content, presentations and supporting documentation
• Providing content advice to stakeholders and senior team members
• Managing multiple priorities and delivering content within agreed timeframes

About You

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

• Content Design / UX Writing / Digital Content
• Writing, editing and structuring complex content
• Web content and user-focused communication
• Stakeholder engagement and consultation
• Agile and multidisciplinary project environments
• Content strategy and accessibility
• Australian Government digital standards or similar large-enterprise environments
• Working independently while contributing effectively to a team

Contract Details

Contract: Initial 7-month contract

Location: ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS or NT

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Hours: Full-time

Clearance: Baseline
