A global leader in inspection and metrology systems, dedicated to designing, developing, manufacturing, and marketing technologically advanced systems for the semiconductor industry.

Role Overview

As a Configuration Control & Documentation Engineer, you will manage configuration control activities for multidisciplinary products throughout their lifecycle. You will lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), documentation updates, BOM changes, and product release processes while working closely with Engineering, R&D, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and controlled product documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end ECO process, including ECO preparation, follow-up approval, implementation, and documentation release.
  • Maintain and control product documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs, part numbers, assemblies, and revision history.
  • Support the transfer of multidisciplinary products from R&D to production, including BOM readiness, documentation completeness.
  • Review and support documentation related to mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, wiring, cable design, and electronic board assemblies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Marketing, and subcontractors.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Practical Engineer in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in configuration control, documentation engineering, engineering change management, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Experience working with PLM systems; Teamcenter experience is a significant advantage.
  • Understanding of BOM structures, item management, revision control, and engineering documentation release processes.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, cable documentation, and assembly documentation.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with engineering, production, quality, supply chain, and external subcontractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Team player, quick learner, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic engineering environment.
