Role: API Technical Writer

Location: Greensboro, NC – Onsite

Seeking an experienced API Technical Writer to own API documentation strategy and create clear, developer-focused technical content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage an API documentation roadmap, backlog, timelines, and review cycles.
• Gather requirements by collaborating with SMEs, developers, and internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain API reference documentation including endpoints, parameters, functions, sample code, errors, and usage patterns.
• Develop Getting Started guides, onboarding content, authentication/setup guides, FAQs, troubleshooting, and release notes.
• Create tutorials, eLearning content, video scripts/storyboards, and API use-case/business narratives.
• Develop or coordinate diagrams and visual documentation for products, processes, and integrations.
• Partner with technical experts to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on technically accurate sales and go-to-market content.
