Improve the accessibility, usability, and clarity of digital products and conversational experiences. Evaluate user needs, identify interaction barriers, and collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to create inclusive, intuitive experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assess interfaces for accessibility barriers and recommend improvements.
Conduct usability research and testing with diverse users, including people with disabilities.
Design conversational flows, prompts, error messages, and recovery paths.
Evaluate keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and content clarity.
Translate research findings into prioritized design recommendations.
Work with developers to verify improvements and maintain consistent interaction patterns.
Document findings and contribute to accessibility and content guidelines.
Qualifications
Degree in human-computer interaction, design, psychology, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in accessibility, usability research, or conversation design.
Understanding of accessibility principles and standards such as WCAG.
Familiarity with assistive technologies, usability testing, and prototyping tools.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to translate user needs into practical design solutions.
Relevant accessibility certifications or conversational product experience are an advantage.
